“The courses I present, are dynamic, interactive and tailored to the needs of the group both in length and content. Participants in my courses will acquire many strategies that they can implement immediately. Teachers will learn and practise practical approaches to encourage students to self-evaluate for improved learning and behavioural outcomes. On request, any course can focus on specific models of behaviour management or approaches to achieving quality learning outcomes.”

Judy McFadden

Judy has worked as a teacher and Psychologist for over 50 years; having examined all the different therapies that have come into vogue over those years, she maintains that any therapy which is successful can be explained by Control Theory, and Control Theory will underpin and strengthen any attempt at helping people to gain strength in their lives.

In addition to working in schools and in private practice, she has been teaching Control Theory and its applications since 1991 to people in many walks of life in all states of Australia and in North America, Hong Kong and New Zealand. She has published four books based on Control Theory, for educators, parents and dieters. She is a founding member of AACTA. She believes strongly that a PCT-based perception of life offers the most powerful information anyone can have if they want to achieve a balanced and happy existence.

These days she is not offering open training courses. Her focus now, by co-presenting with other faculty (mainly her daughter Jenny), is to help them achieve the highest standard of quality in their presentations so that whatever skills and understandings she has gained may be spread as widely as possible.

Jenny McFadden

Jenny McFaddenJenny McFadden is an AACTA Instructor, lecturer and therapist in private practice. Originally training as a teacher and working as a behaviour consultant Jenny moved into counselling after working with her mother Judy to develop the book Diet No More and the Nectar program, which are based on the principles of PCT.

Her passion for the work in Diet No More led Jenny to seek training in Kinesiology, NLP, Energy Psychology and other modalities. She was interested in other ways to understand how to resolve issues around eating, weight and body image that address unconscious sabotage, uncover buried beliefs, clear allergies and achieve balance in mind, body and spirit.

She has been working with individuals as a counsellor/natural therapist for many years. She combines her knowledge and skills in PCT with many different natural therapies. She says the unique combination of her training in PCT with the information and techniques from natural medicine is very powerful and extremely effective.

Jenny’s special interest is in working with natural therapists and other health professionals of any kind to teach them how to integrate the interviewing methods based on PCT into their practical day-to-day interactions with clients. The personal learning and insights that people achieve in the courses, besides the professional skills are what Jenny considers so exciting and satisfying.
